パキスタンを中心に活動するイスラム教スンニ派の過激派組織「ラシュカレ・ジャングビ」（Lashkar-e-Jhangvi）の指導者。1990年代半ばに同組織の設立に関わり、指導者として対立するスンニ派組織への攻撃活動などを牽引してきた。
20115年7月、パキスタンの警察がマリク・イスハクを殺害したと報じられた。
